Not that great fit

I am a big fan of Alice and Olivia. Got the jacket first which is quite beautiful but run small and per advice of others also ordered one size up on the pants. First of all they actually run true to size but they exceptionally long. Also the usual perfect craftsmanship of this brand is lost on these pants: the fit was weird, not flattering. They also very flimsy polyester. The fabric pattern is beautiful but that is all nice about these pants. Not impressed - returning

Love these pants!

These are not high waisted thank goodness. High waisted rarely fit because I have such a long inseam but these are more mid rise or low rise which work well. I tried them on in a store and size 2 didn't fit and size 4 were just a little snug. I ordered 6 which worked well. I'm 5'10" tall and will have to hem them about an inch which is so rare for me. But with heels I can wear them now. Love the stretchy material and the bell bottoms. And the fun rose pattern and the sleek front zip that lays nice and flat. These will look great on stage! (I'm a professional public speaker.)
