Fragile

Bought this dress for my daughter and it looked stunning on her. Fabric is beautiful. However, she wore it to a party at her boyfriends parents (sedate in other words) house and one of the straps broke! Normally this would be an easy fix but upon further inspection, the non-stretch straps are attached at the back by being glued into a small device. The seamstress at my local store said she couldn't fix it, and advised that we try a shoemaker. Local shoemaker didn't want to fix it either! I took it to the Alice and Olivia store in Fashion Island and apparently this has been a problem they are seeing... I am so unhappy, and of course Bloomingdales won't return it because it was worn. So, if you do consider purchasing be aware that the strap could come unglued at any time, rendering the dress unwearable.

Classic little black dress

This dress is stunning. The fabric is a heavy silk and it’s lined. The rhinestone accents are rich. This dress is well made and worth the money.

The best little black dress in your closet!

This dress is so elegant and the quality is amazing! I usually can’t wear such a low cut cleavage but this dress holds me in place without needing a bra.
