Beautiful but can’t be laundered or cleaned

It is a beautiful dress. It is simple but elegant. One problem though. The dress cannot be dry cleaned or laundered. Spot clean only. I would have expected something different for the price of the dress.

Runs large, ordered one size smaller which fits. Received with some wrinkles. Looked at the care instructions: spot clean only. Cannot be hand washed or dry cleaned. What do you do when it gets smelly?
