Wish there was a petite size

I am short (5'3") and knew I'd have to have it hemmed but it also would require alterations to shorten the bodice area as well. I am also not a fan of the leg slit, which was not mentioned in the description. It is right in the front, middle of the skirt. If the slit was a little off-center it might be better.

I did not care for the color of the fabric the silver was very very bright so I returned I bought a six and an eight wasn't sure what size I would be I was a six. I feel like it ran true to size
