These two different sizes of Made In's award-winning chef favorite pan will give you perfect sears and sautés no matter the meal. Meet a true kitchen workhorse - crafted in Italy from five layers of metal, the Stainless Clad Frying Pan delivers a durable, easy-to-clean cooking surface with superior heat conduction and distribution. This 5-ply construction means far more searing and flavor-building, and far fewer hot spots and burnt-on messes. The Frying Pan yields crusty butter-basted steaks, pan sauces that come together faster, and crispier, lacier edges on perfectly fried eggs. The curvature of the walls is calculated for deeper searing and easier flipping, while a rolled rim allows you to pour sauces without spilling. The hollow build of the proprietary Stay Cool Handle™ dissipates heat to keep it from getting scalding hot while on the stovetop. This means the heat stays on your ingredients, not your hands. Discover the difference that over-engineered cookware makes in your most-loved meals.
Beautiful pans but there’s a method to heating up!
Bought these as an alternative to the “nonstick” pans I’ve been using that overheat, and don’t actually work as non stick. I know stainless steel is not truly nonstick but with proper handling it could work well without being toxic. The pans are beautiful to look at, stunning. They feel great and the handle stays cold to the touch but you have to prep them before every meal. Make sure they’re heated through over a medium flame, hot enough that room temp water rolls over (I’d say at least 3 minutes) and then add your fat and food. Cleaning can be a bit tricky too, for some reason I’m getting some white spots even after scrubbing so beware of this as well. But the food comes out good, I made scrambled eggs and burgers on the 10” pan. The 12” pan is huge for an apartment but we’ll keep it for larger meals, maybe meat sauces, big portions of veggies, steaks etc. Hopefully they do last a long time because these were not cheap even with the promotion and Macy’s money applied. I’d love an 8” pan too for just single serving of eggs or pancakes but will have to buy that separately.
