just not worth it

I can't understand the reviews for this product. I've used this consistently for a few weeks, and I can't work out why anyone would repurchase it. It is pleasant to apply, smells quite nice and leaves an attractive light satin sheen to the skin. However, it does not hydrate or nourish skin effectively and I expect a moisturiser to manage at least one, preferably both of these. I have noticed no noticeable calming or anti-ageing effects. If you have skin that needs little or no moisturiser (what used to laughably be called normal skin, when it is anything but), and have £175 to spend on something that leaves a nice slight sheen on the skin but does little else, then maybe you are their target market.

Best for oily or combination skins

I had a 15ml sample of this cream, so enough for several uses. My face is dry and prone to dehydration and I found this too light for me in autumn and early winter. Maybe it would have been enough in summer. But, my neck skin is less dry, and also where I am showing signs of ageing, so I used this sample there. I found it perfectly pleasant to use, nice texture, no strong scent, no pilling under sunscreen. But I can’t say I fell in love such that I could justify buying this to use as my regular neck moisturiser.

Nice start

This cream is a great part to use for your daily routine in the morning. I have oily skin, and other kinds of moisturizers seem to enhance this problem but the repair day cream does not.

Overpriced

While I do really like the smell of the Y Theorem line from 111SKIN, that's about the only thing which sets it apart from other moisturisers and creams. It absorbs well but it doesn't have any effect. A basic cream would suffice instead of this (and would save you over a hundred pounds).

OMG I’m in love

I had a sample of this and used it after having a reaction to another product as I read that it was good for soothing the skin. Oh my goodness, this cream is everything - the cream sinks into my skin so well and doesn’t leave any greasy residue, it calmed my skin from the first application and helped my skin to get over its adverse reaction and after a few weeks of use my skin looks and feels amazing - less visible pores on my cheeks and my skin feels like silk. Yes the price point is eye wateringly high (more than I’ve ever paid for a cream before) but I have purchased this as a full size product (unfortunately not from here as it was out of stock!). Just need it to come back in stock at SpaceNk so I get my points on my next purchase of it!!
