Facial Toners

Toners—whether you prefer exfoliating options, like glycolic acid toners, or hydrating toners—help remove residual dirt, grime, makeup, and cleansing products left behind after washing and rinsing. And thanks to their wide range of formulations, toners can help you not only achieve cleaner skin, but healthier, more radiant skin, too. (Pro tip: Applying toner immediately after cleansing can help increase the water content of the outer layer of skin and give you improved product absorption.)

In terms of choosing the right toner, if you have acne-prone skin or are concerned about dullness, look for alpha-hydroxy and beta-hydroxy acids (AHAs and BHAs), like glycolic acid toner, which act as natural exfoliants. And for mature skin or anyone with dry skin, think hydrating toners with hyaluronic acid and other moisturizing and/or hydrophilic ingredients.
