Special Return Guidelines

Area rugs

Area rugs must be returned within 14 days after delivery.

  • Rugs must be in saleable, original condition.
  • If purchased in a store, it must be returned to the location of purchase.

Furniture

Returns must be initiated within 3 days of delivery and may incur a 15% restocking fee.

  • Delivery fees will not be refunded.
  • Furniture protection plans will be refunded.
  • Items must be returned in their original, new condition.
  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact Bloomingdale’s Customer service at 1-800-323-7857.
  • Outdoor furniture delivered on or after June 27th cannot be returned.

Mattresses

Mattresses have a 365-day reselection period if you aren’t satisfied, minus applicable fees, calculated as a percentage of your original purchase price.

  • Original delivery fees are not refundable.
  • A new delivery fee will be incurred.
  • A pick-up fee of $110 will be charged, except in the case of a manufacturer’s defect.
  • Cancellations, returns, or exchanges of special-order furniture will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

Merchandise Sold and Shipped by a Third Party Seller

We hope you love your Bloomingdale’s purchases. However, should you change your mind, we are happy to accept returns of saleable merchandise, with proof of purchase, and credit your original form of payment. Most returns will be accepted within 30 days of receipt. Simply use our online return tool. to start the process and send it directly back to the seller.

 

Prefer to return in person? Stop by your nearest Bloomingdale’s and visit the bHelpful desk. Our store associates will gladly assist you with the return and ship the item back for you.

 

Most refunds are processed within 3–14 business days after the seller receives the item. Returned merchandise must be in the same condition as when you received it (unused, unworn, undamaged) and must include all tags and original packaging. If a seller determines that a returned item does not meet these conditions, the refund may be declined and the item may be sent back to you.

 

Please note that the following have special return policies:

  • Pre-Owned Luxury (REBAG and myGemma)
    • If you are not satisfied with your pre-owned watch, jewelry, or handbag purchase you will have 14 days from the delivery date to make the return. Please ensure the tags remain attached, the item is unaltered, and all original paperwork, receipt, and packaging are included in the return packaging.
    • Items cannot be refunded in stores; however a store associate can assist with shipping the item back on your behalf.
  • Food and Beverage Items
    • Food (including pet food) and beverages are final sale.
  • Sexual Wellness
    • Due to the intimate nature of these items, all sales are final.
  • Breast Pumps
    • Due to the intimate nature of these items, breast pumps can only be returned if sent back unopened and in their original packaging.

 

Items shipped by a third-party seller are not eligible for exchanges or price adjustments. However, you may contact Customer Service at 1.800.777.0000 to return your items and place a new order for any items you wish to exchange.

  • Within 14 days of purchase in-store. Markdowns are not returnable.
Gucci
  • Within 30 days of purchase if made in-store, or 30 days of delivery if purchased online.
    Requires certain items to be returned to their location of purchase:
    • Handbags
    • Men’s and women’s shoes
    • Jewelry
myGemma & Pre-Owned Fine Jewelry
  • Within 14 days of purchase if made in-store, or 14 days of delivery if purchased online.
REBAG
  • Returns for items purchased in-store can only be done within 14 days of purchase at any of our Bloomingdale’s REBAG boutiques:
    • White Plains, NY
    • Short Hills, NJ
    • Boca Raton Town Center, FL
    • Fashion Valley, CA
  • Items purchased online should be mailed directly back to the seller within 14 days of delivery and can be initiated through our online return tool.
Saint Laurent
  • Returns for items purchased in-store can only be done within 30 days of purchase at any of our Bloomingdale’s Saint Laurent Accessory boutiques:
    • 59th Street
    • Roosevelt Field
    • Century City
    • South Coast Plaza
  • Returns for items purchased online should be shipped back within 30 days of delivery using our online return tool.
Trunk Show Purchases
  • Must be returned to the location of purchase within 14 days.
